Established in late 2017 by Calum Jacobs,  CARICOM Magazine
prang from a need to see football and fan culture examined through the criminally underexplored lens of the black experience in the United Kingdom and beyond. As a result, the publication explores the ways in which contemporary blackness, social attitudes, history and football intersect and overlap.

CARICOM understands that carving out a space in football and culture writing that has black people unapologetically at its centre – by publishing media that has a genuine affinity with the content – is essential.
